Infectious Bronchitis & Newcastle Disease

Description :
Live, freeze-dried vaccine against Infectious Bronchitis and Newcastle Disease in chickens. Each dose of vaccine contains at least 103 EID50  of the ND strain Clone 30. The vaccine pellet contains stabilizers and gentamicin has been added during the production process.

Indications :
Immunization of healthy chickens against the Massachusetts type or serologically related types of Infectious Bronchitis and against Newcastle Disease.

Vaccination Programme :
The vaccine is safe to use from 1 day of age onwards,

Guideline :

Broilers

  • Vaccination at day-old with Ma5+Clone 30, coarse spray or oculo/nasal.
  • If ND is endemic revaccination with Clone30 at approximately 4 weeks, by spray, oculo/nasal or drinking water administration.

Layers and Breeders

  • vaccination with Ma5+Clone 30 at day-old, coarse spray or oculo/nasal
  • If ND is endemic revaccination with Clone30 at approximately 4 weeks, by spray, oculo/nasal or drinking water administration
  • Revaccination with Ma5+Clone 30 at approximately 6 weeks of age by spray, oculo/nasal or drinking water administration

The vaccination Programme for layers and breeders should be completed by administration of an inactivated vaccine containing the IB and ND components in order to provide protection during the whole laying period.

Immuniy and Vaccination Reaction :
Duration and intensity of the vaccination reaction and the establishment of a solid immunity are generally dependent on the health and condition of the birds. Hygiene and management are also important in the post vaccination period.

An adequate immunity against ND and the Massachusetts type of IB will last for approximately 6 weeks. In areas where ND is endemic, a second vaccination with Clone 30 should be given at an age of approximately 4 weeks. Emergency vaccination during the laying period may be accompanied by a transient drop in egg production.

Presentations :
Vials of 1000 and 2500 doses in boxes of 10 vials.
