AE-POX VACCINE NOBILIS

Avian Encephalomyelitis and Fowl Pox

Description :
Combined live vaccine against Avian Encephalomyelitis and Fowl pox/diphtheria in chickens. Each dose of freeze-dried vaccine contains at least 102.5  EID50  A.E. virus, strain Calnek 1143 and 102.8   EID50  fowl pox virus, strain Gibbs. The vaccine pellet contains stabilizers and gentamicin has been added during the production process.

Indications :
Active immunization of healthy chickens (layer and breeder replacement pullets) against Avian Encephalomyelitis and Fowl Pox.

Administration :
By the wing-web method.

Vaccination Programme :
Vaccinate at the age of 8 to 16 weeks. (revaccination during the moulting period).

Immunity :
Vaccinated birds are protected against egg drop due to both diseases during lay and their progeny are protected against AE for the first few weeks of life via maternally transmitted immunity.

Contra-indications and warnings :
Do not vaccinate during lay or with in 28 days before the beginning of the laying period.
Do not vaccinate chickens younger than 8 weeks of age.
Vaccinate all susceptible birds on the same premises at the same time.
Transmission of vaccine virus to non-immunized birds should be avoided.

Presentation :
Boxes containing 1 vial of 1000 doses of vaccine plus diluent and wing-web needle.
